The 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship returns to the exhilarating Donington Park GP circuit (24/25 August), here’s all the information you need to know to keep up with the action…
The 2024 grid travelled north of the border a fortnight ago for the seventh weekend of the season as they continue to build one of the tightest championship battles in recent memory. The strategy across all three races proved pivotal after another weekend with three different victors.
Colin Turkington was fastest on Saturday making it his first pole position double for the Team BMW driver for eight years. The two West Surrey Racing-run outfits would have the strongest of weekends as Turkington would go on to take the race one victory before Jake Hill would take home the trophy for race two. Championship leader Tom Ingram had to endure a damage limitation weekend seeing his 21-point lead drop to a three-point lead ahead of Hill.
As we head into the latter stages of the season, there have been some line-up changes for teams and drivers across some race weekends throughout 2024. To see all of this year’s line-up, click here.
